Scooby Doo: My Ideal Reboot

So, I've been writing scripts. For fun, not for anything serious lol. I personally don't mind reboots if they are good. Because, as a horror fan, I've been through some bad reboots. I thought to myself about the kind of reboots I would want to see, and decided to share them with y'all.

001. Scooby Doo

No shade to any of my IRL friends, but...It's time we made things right. If you remember...now it's totally cool if you don't remember because I honestly thought this was a late nineties fever dream...If you remember, Cartoon Network did a Blair Witch Parody that starred the gang.

I want to expand on that and introduce a new group of people.
I want some dude's dog to come across a collar. Yes, you know the one, and it's still warm. When he asks his parents about it. They tell him about the group of teens that went missing decades ago in the woods. Legend says are still out there, other stories say they got killed by a legendary monster.
I want this dude (We'll call him Max lol)  to call up his Breakfast Club of friends and try and find them, as the police closed the case long ago. They wouldn't go into detail to a complete stranger. So Max and his friends try to solve the Mystery of the Missing Scooby Gang.
I want legitimate scary things to happen to the kids that are looking for the Scooby gang AND flashbacks to the Scooby gang getting lost in the woods.
My hope for the ending is that they all got in to an argument over if the monster or whatever was chasing them was real or not. They ended up just going their separate ways never seeing each other again.
-Fred fled to Canada because he got drafted (I didn't make this up, this is a fan theory that I read. Shaggy and Fred and on the run from the draft lmao) . Based on his phone number, he is now living close to the boarder of the US and Canada. They assume he isn't interested in reuniting with his friends. Because he hung up on them as soon as they let him know what they wanted.
-Velma became an author and writes under a pen name. She chronicles the mysteries the Scooby Gang solved with some creative liberties. She, like Fred wants nothing to do with the connection to the group.

-Shaggy changed his look and is a schoolteacher in another state. When confronted by the "new" group of teens, he says he doesn't know why Scooby's collar was warm. Scooby getting lost is what made him abandon the group.  He is sure Scooby is dead because Great Danes only live for about ten years. And, he swears the monster is real and probably did kill Scooby.
- Now Daphne is a Grey Gardens-esqe hermit that lives just outside their town. She was the one that had all of the flashback videos that the "new" kids were watching trying to figure out what happened.

The "New" group comes across a piece of video that shows Scooby getting his foot caught on something. They call Shaggy and explain that he was hurt, not killed. Shaggy still thinks his dog is dead, but agrees to come back to the town in hopes of getting closure. Velma meets up with them for inspiration for her next book. They meet up at Daphne's house, reminisce and make up. They lament that Fred didn't come. Daphne is especially upset.
They use maps and GPS to locate the spot where Scooby got hurt. There is a nearby cave. Velma suggests that Scooby could have crawled in to it to attempt to recover. The Scooby Gang stand out side of the cave and Shaggy says a metaphorical goodbye to Scooby. They all hear barking. Max tells his dog to be quiet, but it's not his dog.

Shaggy crawls into the cave. It's Scooby...Very, very, VERY elderly. Shaggy carries Scooby out. Suddenly, a figure appears behind them. They think it is the monster from before, but it's Fred. Fred was the one taking care of Scooby the entire time.
The entire gang is together again, and the "new" gang decide to keep trying to solve mysteries. Boom, reboot!
