It made thirty two million dollars at the North American Box office and it also gave Hitchcock his fifth and final Oscar nomination for best director. He didn’t win, in fact he never won and Oscar. Janet Leigh was nominated for best supporting actress, and John L. Russell was nominated for Best Cinematography, Black-and-White.
